Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 2 medium russet potatoes washed, peeled, cut into ½ inch pieces
  • 1 small yellow onion peeled and chopped into ½ pieces
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon ground black pepper
  • teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • To a medium bowl, add the potatoes, onion, canola oil, melted butter, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss until well coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Once the air fryer is ready, add the potatoes and cook for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown. Shake the air fryer basket halfway through for even cooking.
  • Once done, remove the potatoes from the air fryer, let cool, then enjoy!

Notes

Storage And Reheating Instructions:
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat, preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and heat for 2-3 minutes until crispy.
Pro Tips:
  •  When chopping the potatoes, be sure to chop them all around the same size. This is to ensure they cook evenly.
  •  The air fryer I used was the Instant Vortex Plus 6 quart. Since all air fryers are different, you will need to adjust the cook time based on the air fryer you are using.
  • Butter can be omitted if you want these to be dairy free.
