Storage And Reheating Instructions:
This sandwich is best when eaten fresh. If you do have leftovers, store them in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
To reheat, preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit and heat for 2-3 minutes until warm.
The air fryer I used was the Instant Vortex Plus 6 quart. Since all air fryers are different, you will need to adjust the cook time based on the air fryer you are using.
You may need to use toothpicks to hold the sandwich down if using really thin bread.
Use a good quality bread for best results. I used country style sliced bread. I love it because it's thick and holds up well in the air fryer.
Use a large pancake spatula to make it easier to place the sandwich into the air fryer basket.
Be sure to check on your sandwich halfway through the cooking process. It’s cooks really fast!
