Get ready to make the best hot dogs you’ve ever tasted. These air fryer BBQ hot dogs are juicy in the middle, slightly charred on the outside, and absolutely delicious!
While the air fryer heats up, use a knife to cut 4 to 6 slits into each hot dog.
Add the hot dogs to the air fryer in a single layer and cook at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 6 minutes.
Open the air fryer and brush each hot dog with BBQ sauce, brushing the BBQ sauce down into the hot dog slits for extra flavor. Cook the hot dogs for an additional minute at 400 degrees Fahrenheit until the BBQ sauce is hot and bubbly. You can cook them longer if you prefer more char.
Remove hot dogs from the air fryer. Let cool, then enjoy!
Notes
Storage And Reheating Instructions:
Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 3 days.
Reheat in a preheated air fryer at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 to 3 minutes.
Pro Tips:
Cook longer for crispier hot dogs
I used the Instant Vortex Plus 6 quart air fryer which fit 8 hot dogs in at once. You may be able to cook more or less hot dogs at a time depending on which air fryer you use.
