  • Pat the chicken dry on both sides with a paper towel.
  • To a large bowl, add the olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, and brown sugar. Stir until well blended.
  • Add the chicken breast to the bowl and toss until well coated with the seasoning mixture.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Add chicken to the air fryer in a single layer and cook for 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes, flip the chicken, and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until the internal temperature is 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Be sure not to overcook.
  • Once done, remove the chicken from the air fryer, let cool, then enjoy!

Storage And Reheating Instructions:
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 360 degrees Fahrenheit until thoroughly heated.

  • Do not overcook the chicken breast. Remove chicken from the air fryer immediately once done to prevent overcooking.
  • Cook chicken in a single layer. Do not stack.
  • The USDA recommends that all chicken be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit as measured by an internal food thermometer.
  • The air fryer used in this recipe was the Instant Vortex Plus 6 quart. Since all air fryers cook differently, you may have to adjust the cook time accordingly.
