Baked BBQ Pork Chops (Juicy, Easy & Family Favorite)
These Baked BBQ Pork Chops are juicy, tender and flavorful. They are seasoned with a homemade seasoning blend, baked, then finished with a generous layer of BBQ sauce. Make these for an easy weeknight dinner that the whole family will enjoy.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil for easy clean up.
Mix the seasonings: In a small bowl, mix the salt, ground black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, and brown sugar. Set aside.
Pat each pork chop dry using a paper towel, then brush with olive oil.
Season the pork chops generously with the seasoning mixture. Rub the seasoning in.
Place the pork chops on the sheet pan and bake them for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, remove the pork chops from the oven and brush all sides with BBQ sauce.
Place the pork chops back in the oven and cook for an additional 5 to 10 minutes until the internal temperature is 145 degrees Fahrenheit (you may have to cook longer if using thicker cuts).
Remove pork chops from the oven and rest on a plate for 5 minutes for the juiciest results.
Notes
Storage And Reheating Instructions:
Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days.
Reheat in the microwave for 25 seconds at a time until warmed throughout.
Pro Tips:
Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes after cooking for juicy pork chops.
Do not overcook the pork chops. I used boneless pork chops that were just 1 inch thick. Thinner pork chops will require less cook time, and thicker pork chops will require longer cook time.
