Open the air fryer and spray or brush the air fryer basket with cooking oil. Return the air fryer basket to the air fryer.
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
While the air fryer is preheating, cut 4 diagonal slits on the top of each chicken sausage, about a half an inch apart.
Once the air fryer is preheated, add the chicken sausages in a single layer. Cook for 6 to 7 minutes until done. Flip the sausages halfway through.
Once done, immediately remove the sausages from the air fryer, let cool, then enjoy!

Notes
Storage And Reheating Instructions:
Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days.
Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 to minutes until warm or microwave for 20 to 30 seconds.
Pro Tips:
Chicken sausage is very lean so be careful not to overcook the chicken sausages as they will become rubbery.
Do not stack the chicken sausages. Cook in a single layer for the best results.
The air fryer that I used was the Instant Vortex Plus 6 quart. All air fryers cook differently, so you may need to adjust the time slightly based on the air fryer you use.
