Instructions

  • Remove steaks from the refrigerator and let set at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, preheat air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • While the air fryer heats up, pat the steaks dry on both sides with a paper towel.
  • Brush a light layer of olive oil onto the steaks on both sides.
  • Generously season both sides of each steak with salt and pepper. Be sure to press the seasonings into the steak so they remain on the steak when flipping them over and transporting them to the air fryer.
  • Add the steaks to the air fryer in a single layer and cook for 6 minutes.
  • Flip the steaks and cook for an additional 6 minutes until the internal temperature is 145 degrees Fahrenheit for medium. See notes below for additional doneness temperatures.
  • Remove steaks from the air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes.

Notes

Storage And Reheating Instructions:
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days.
Pro Tips:
  • Bring steaks to room temperature by letting them sit out for 30 minutes prior to cooking. This is to ensure that the steaks cook evenly.
  • It’s important to preheat your air fryer. This helps the steak get the nice browned exterior that we all know and love.
  • Pat steaks completely dry before cooking so the outside can brown and not steam.
  • Every steak will have a different cook time based on thickness. It’s best to use an instant food thermometer to measure the temperature for your desired doneness.
  • Do not use parchment paper.
  • Make sure the steaks are spread out while cooking, do not overlap.
