Simple Valentine’s Day Pretzels With Hugs

Ingredients

35 mini pretzel twists
35 Hershey Hugs
35 M&M's
1 tablespoon red sprinkles

Instructions

Preheat oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the pretzel twists in a single layer, leaving space between each one.
Add the Hershey’s Hugs. Unwrap the Hershey’s Hugs and place one on top of each pretzel.
Carefully place the baking sheet into the oven and heat the pretzels for about 2-4 minutes. Be sure to keep a close eye on them. You want them soften, but not completely melted.
Carefully remove the baking sheet from the oven. Immediately place one M&M to the center of each pretzel hug and sprinkle the red sprinkles over the softened chocolate. Let the pretzels cool completely. Then enjoy!

Recipe Variations And Substitutions:

Different Chocolate : Rolos, or mini peanut butter cups in place of Hug's work great as well!

Pretzels: Swap the twists for pretzel squares. Whichever you prefer.

Sprinkle: Use heart-shaped sprinkles or switch up the colors for different holidays and occasions.

Storage :

Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place.

Pro Tips:

Watch the Oven: This isn’t a set it and forget it recipe. The chocolate melts very quickly, so don’t walk away while they’re in the oven.

Even Sprinkling: Use your fingers to evenly distribute the sprinkles, otherwise most of them will end up on the pan.

Cooling: If you’re in a rush, place baking sheet with the pretzel hugs in the freezer for about 10 minutes to set the chocolate (let the baking sheet cool down before placing in freezer).
