Ingredients

Instructions

  • Slice the peppers and onions.
  • To a large bowl, add the sliced peppers and onions, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Gently toss until well coated.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Once the air fryer is ready, add the peppers and onions to the air fryer and shake the basket so the peppers and onions are in an even layer. Cook for 8 minutes.
  • After 8 minutes, stir the peppers and onions.
  • Cook for another 8 minutes until the peppers and onions are tender.
  • Remove the peppers and onions from the air fryer, let cool, and enjoy!

Notes

Storage And Reheating Instructions:
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat, preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and heat for 2 to 3 minutes until warm.
Pro Tips:
  • Be sure to stir the veggies halfway through the cooking process for even cooking.
  • If you prefer your peppers and onions really tender, then cook them until your desired tenderness is reached.
  • The air fryer I used was the Instant Vortex Plus 6 quart. Since all air fryers are different, you will need to adjust the cook time based on the air fryer you are using.
