    Q&A:

At what temperature is Italian Sausage fully cooked?

According to the USDA, ground pork needs to be cooked to an internal temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit as measured with a food thermometer.

What To Serve With Air Fryer Italian Sausage?

Enjoy these Italian sausages on top of pasta, alongside broccoli, potatoes, or corn on the cob. You can also place these in hoagie rolls and top with my amazing Air Fryer Onions, Air Fryer Peppers and Onions or Air Fryer Mushrooms.

How Long To Cook Frozen Italian Sausage In The Air Fryer:

    1. Preheat the air fryer to 365 degrees Fahrenheit.

    2. Once the air fryer is heated, remove the frozen sausages from all packaging and place into the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes, flip, then cook for an additional 6 to 8 minutes until the internal temperature is 160 degrees Fahrenheit as measured with a food thermometer.

    3. Carefully remove the Italian sausage from the air fryer. Let them cool. Then enjoy with your favorite toppings or sides. See above for topping and side dish ideas.

    Recipe Variations And Substitutions:

This recipe works for a variety of air fryer sausages, like air fryer brats, chorizo links, or andouille.

    Storage And Reheating Instructions:

    • Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
    • To reheat, preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit and heat for 2-3 minutes until heated throughout.

    Pro Tips:

    • The USDA recommends that ground pork needs to be cooked to an internal temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit as measured with a meat thermometer.
    • The air fryer I used was the Instant Vortex Plus 6 quart. Since all air fryers are different, you will need to adjust the cook time based on the air fryer you are using.
