    Q&A:

Do I have to thaw the green beans before air frying?

Nope, for this recipe you can cook the green beans from frozen.

Can you put frozen vegetables in the air fryer?

Definitely. Frozen vegetables can be cooked in the air fryer without the need to thaw them.

Can I use fresh or canned green beans?

    Ingredients:

Air Fryer Frozen Green Beans recipe labeled ingredients in various dishes on a white marble surface: frozen green beans, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, red pepper flakes.
    • Frozen Green Beans - Trader Joe’s, Birds Eye, or whatever brand you choose would work. I get a big bag of frozen green beans from Costco.
    • Olive Oil - I used olive oil, but you can use whatever cooking oil you’d regularly use.
    • Salt
    • Pepper
    • Garlic Powder
    • Red Pepper Flakes - I only used a pinch to add extra flavor. You can add more if you would like your green beans spicy or omit altogether.

    Air Fryer Instructions:

    1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

    2. To a medium bowl, add the frozen green beans, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, red pepper flakes. Toss until the green beans are well coated.

    3. Place the frozen green beans into the air fryer basket and air fry for 8 to 10 minutes until tender.

    4. Remove green beans from air fryer and enjoy!

    Recipe Variations And Substitutions:

Olive oil - I used olive oil but you can use whatever cooking oil you prefer. Melted butter can be used as well for extra flavor.

    Storage And Reheating Instructions:

    • Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
    • To reheat, preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit and heat for 1-3 minutes until warm.

    Pro Tips:

    • The air fryer I used was the Ninja XL. Since all air fryers are different, you may need to adjust the cook time slightly based on the air fryer you are using. Always check on your food halfway through.
    • Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, shaved almonds, melted butter, and crumbled bacon are all tasty additions that you can add on top of your green beans once cooked.
    • These greens beans are tender. If you would like them less tender, then cook them a couple of minutes less.
