These wraps can be made ahead of time. Just assemble the wraps, wrap tightly in food plastic wrap, and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Once you are ready to enjoy. them, heat them up as directed in the recipe or eat cold.
Recipe Variations:
- Cheese - Mozzarella is used in this recipe, but Provolone cheese would work great as well.
- Add additional fillings to your wrap - Sliced or diced tomatoes, chopped red onion, black olives, roasted red pepper, and lettuce all would taste amazing in this wrap. Just be sure not to overfill your wrap or you won’t be able to wrap it.
Storage and Reheating Instructions:
- Wrap leftovers in food plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- To reheat, preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit and heat for 1-2 minutes.
Pro Tips:
- Warm tortillas up. Warm tortillas are easier to fold and less likely to rip while folding.
- Don’t overfill the tortillas. Adding too many fillings to the tortillas will make them impossible to fold.
- I used my Instant Vortex Plus 6 quart air fryer to test this recipe, so cook times my vary slightly based on the air fryer you are using.
