Air Fryer Frozen Crinkle Cut Fries

One of my favorite quick and easy air fryer side dishes is frozen crinkle cut fries. The air fryer makes them the best frozen fries you’ll ever have! They turn out far better in the air fryer than they do when cooked in the oven. Plus, my kids love them! I use Ore-Ida crinkle fries, but you can use Nathans, Kroger’s, or any other brand of frozen crinkle fries.

    Q&A:

Do you season frozen fries before or after cooking?

It’s best to season the frozen fries after they are done cooking and still hot. This is so the seasoning sticks to the fries.

Can you cook store bought frozen French fries in an air fryer?

Absolutely! The air fryer is the best way to cook frozen French fries. They cook fast and come out crispy.

What temperature do you cook frozen fries in an air fryer?

For the best results, cook the frozen fries at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Do you spray oil on frozen French fries in the air fryer?

No, you do not need to spray oil on frozen French fries before air frying. The frozen store bought crinkle fries already contain enough cooking oil to make the fries crispy in the air fryer.

Do I need to preheat air fryer for fries?

For the best results, I recommend preheating your air fryer for fries.

Do I need to defrost frozen French fries before frying?

No, you do not need to defrost frozen French fries before air frying. You can cook them from frozen and they turn out crispier that way.

    Equipment Needed:

    Air Fryer

    Ingredients:

Frozen crinkle cut fries on a white marble surface and salt in a silver dish on a white marble surface.
    • Frozen Crinkle Cut Fries - I used Ore-Ida, but you can use whatever brand you prefer.
