    Equipment Needed:

    Ingredients:

Air fryer hot ham and cheese wraps recipe labeled ingredients in various dishes on a white marble surface: tortillas, ham, Swiss cheese, Dijon mustard, mayo, melted butter.
    • Ham - I used Black Forrest ham. Deli ham works great too.
    • Swiss Cheese - You can use whatever cheese you want like American cheese, cheddar, provolone, or pepper-jack cheese.
    • Flour Tortillas
    • Butter
    • Dijon mustard

    Air Fryer Instructions:

    1. Warm the tortillas: Start by placing the tortillas on a microwave safe plate, then place a damp paper towel over them. Microwave the tortillas for 20-30 seconds until warm. This will make the tortillas easier to fold without them cracking.

    2. Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit and set the timer for 5 minutes.

    Recipe Variations:

    • Low carb and gluten free wraps can be used in this recipe.
    • You can replace the melted butter with olive or avocado oil.
    • Try adding sliced tomatoes, slices olives, or spinach leaves, it’s delicious!

    Storage And Reheating Instructions:

    • To reheat, preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit and heat for 1-2 minutes.

    Make Ahead Method:

You can make these a day ahead by first assembling the wraps and wrapping each wrap tightly in plastic wrap. To cook, remove plastic wrap and cook in a preheated air fryer at 380 degrees for 5 to 6 minutes.

    Pro Tips:

    • Allow the wraps to cool down after they come out of the air fryer. They will be hot!
    • The air fryer I used was my Instant Vortex Plus 6 quart. Since every air fryer is different, you will need to adjust this recipe to your air fryer accordingly. For instance, you make need to cook these a minute longer or shorter depending on your air fryer and personal preference on how dark you want your tortillas.

Hot ham and cheese wraps were so good! I had to use up ham from Easter and this was a great way to do it. I also got an air fryer as a gift and need recipes.

Hi Evie, for picnics, I make these and leave them cold without air frying them or adding the butter. They hold up great that way.

Excellent! My husband and I loved them!
Could we make these up and freeze them and then bring them out to airfry?

So glad you two enjoyed! Yes, these can be frozen and then air fried from frozen. You will just need to increase the cook time by about 3 minutes and reduce the temp to 365F just to be sure the inside and outside cook evenly.
