    Q&A:

Is it better to use oil or butter for quesadillas?

I tested this recipe using both olive oil and then butter. After a taste test around the house, we decided that butter tasted the best on this quesadilla. However, you can use whichever you prefer.

Can I use low carb tortillas?

Yes. If you prefer to use low carb tortillas, then go ahead and use low carb.

How do I prevent the tortilla from flying around inside the air fryer basket?

If your air fryer has a powerful fan, try further securing the top tortilla by placing toothpicks through the top and bottom tortillas. You can also try placing a wire rack on top of the quesadilla once you place it in your air fryer.

How do I get the quesadilla crispy on the bottom?

If you would like the quesadilla to get crispy on the bottom, you will need to carefully flip the quesadilla and cook it for an additional minute.

What To Serve With Pizza Quesadillas:

Pair this pizza quesadilla with one or two of the foods below to make it a full meal:

    • Air fryer broccoli
    • Crinkle fries
    • Green beans with bacon
    • Brussels sprouts with bacon
    • Salad
    • Garlic Bread
    • Roasted vegetables
    • Pasta salad
    • Chicken wings
    • Fruit
    • Soup

    Dipping Sauces:

This quesadilla tastes amazing dipped in pizza sauce, marinara sauce, or my quick sriracha aioli or spicy garlic aioli.

    Equipment Needed:

    • Air Fryer
    • Large Spatula
    • Basting Brush

This is so good! I can’t believe I never thought to do this! My kids love these. I did end up flipping mine over to get it crispy on the other side, like you recommended . The ones I made for my kids I didn't bother flipping them because they like them either way.
