Equipment Needed:
- Air Fryer
Ingredients (Full recipe located in recipe card below):
- Chicken wings - Also known as wingettes, flats & drumettes, or party wings. I usually use the party wings from Costco. If you have whole chicken wings, then you will need to cut them in half.
- Olive oil - Or you can use a different cooking oil if you prefer. Canola oil, vegetable oil, or avocado oil work great as well.
- Seasonings - Salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, brown sugar.
Air Fryer Instructions:
1. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil.
2. Return the basket to the air fryer and preheat to 390 degrees Fahrenheit.
3. To a small bowl, add the olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and brown sugar. Stir until well blended.
4. Add the chicken to a large bowl and pat completely dry with a paper towel. This is to remove excess moisture so the wings come out super crispy.
5. Top the chicken wings with the oil seasoning mixture and toss until well coated.
6. Add the chicken wings to the air fryer in a single layer and cook for 18 minutes until crispy and the internal temperature is 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Flip the wings halfway through. Cook 2 to 3 minutes longer for extra crispy wings.
7. Once done, remove the wings from the air fryer, let cool, then enjoy.
