  • Fast and easy - Cooking wings in the air fryer is a total time saver. You can have restaurant quality chicken wings at home that are ready in just 20 minutes or less. The oven can take up to an hour to bake crispy chicken wings.

Ingredients (Full recipe located in recipe card below):

Air fryer chicken wings recipe ingredients in various dishes on a white marble surface: chicken wings, brown sugar, smoked paprika, olive oil, salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder.
  • Chicken wings - Also known as wingettes, flats & drumettes, or party wings. I usually use the party wings from Costco. If you have whole chicken wings, then you will need to cut them in half.
  • Olive oil - Or you can use a different cooking oil if you prefer. Canola oil, vegetable oil, or avocado oil work great as well.
  • Seasonings - Salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, brown sugar.

Air Fryer Instructions:

1. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil.

  • Add cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the spice rub mixture to add some heat.

Storage And Reheating Instructions:

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Pro Tips:

  • The USDA recommends that all chicken be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit as measured by an internal food thermometer.
  • For the best results, cook chicken wings in a single layer and don’t overcrowd the air fryer.
