    Q&A:

Can I use frozen green beans?

Absolutely! Just follow the recipe as direct using frozen green beans. Since frozen green beans cook faster than fresh green beans, you'll want to subtract a couple of minutes from the cook time.

Ingredients: Full recipe in the recipe card at end of post

Air fryer parmesan green beans recipe ingredients in various dishes on a white marble surface: fresh green beans, olive oil, grated parmesan cheese, salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder.
    • Olive Oil - Used to lightly coat the green beans before air frying.
    • Green Beans - Use fresh green beans that have been washed, dried, and woody ends trimmed off. The packaged green beans from the produce section of the grocery store work great as well and usually come cleaned, trimmed and ready to cook.
    • Parmesan Cheese - I used grated Parmesan cheese. I love how it adds a crispy and delicious coating to the green beans.
    • Garlic Powder
    • Salt and Pepper

    Air Fryer Instructions:

    1. To a medium bowl, add the olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir until well blended.

    2. Add the green beans to the bowl and toss until well coated.

    Storage And Reheating Instructions:

    • Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
    • To reheat, preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit and heat for 1-3 minutes until crispy.

    Pro Tips:

    • Be sure to trim the woody ends from the green beans before cooking. You will also want to make sure the green beans are completely dry before cooking.
    • The air fryer I used was the Instant Vortex Plus 6 quart. Since all air fryers vary, you may need to adjust the cook time slightly based on the air fryer you are using.
