Q&A:
The best way to avoid dry pork chops is to avoid overcooking. The pork chops should be cooked to an internal temperature to 145 degrees Fahrenheit and then immediately removed from the air fryer onto a plate to rest for 3 minutes. Resting the pork chops for 3 minutes is a very important step as this allows the juices to redistribute in the pork chops which results in a juicy and tender pork chop.

Equipment Needed:
Ingredients (Full recipe located in recipe card below):

- Boneless Pork Chops - I recommend using boneless center-cut pork chops that are preferably 1.5 inches to 2 inches thick. 1 inch thick would work as well. Center-cut pork chops are also known as loin chops or center loin chops. The chops that I used in the recipe were from Costco and they were about 1.5 inches thick.
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic Powder
- Italian Seasoning
- Brown Sugar
- Smoked Paprika
Air Fryer Instructions:
1. To a small bowl, add the salt, pepper, garlic power, onion power, smoked paprika and brown sugar. Stir until well blended.

2. Pat pork chops dry with a paper towel.

3. Brush pork chops on all sides with olive oil.

4. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture on the pork chops on all sides. Using your fingertips, press the seasoning down into the pork chops.

5. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

6. Once the air fryer is ready, add the pork chops to the air fryer in a single layer and cook them for 8 minutes.

7. After 8 minutes, flip the pork chops and cook for an additional 8 to 10 minutes until the pork chops have reached an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit as measured by a food thermometer. The timing will depend on the thickness of your pork chop.

8. Once done, immediately remove the pork chops and let rest on a plate for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, the pork chops will be juicy and ready for you to enjoy!

Recipe Variations And Substitutions:
- Dried oregano can be used in place of the Italian seasoning.
- This recipe is for thick boneless pork chops. If you have thin pork chops, then you will want to use my air fryer thin pork chops recipe.
Storage And Reheating Instructions:
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
- Reheat in the air fryer at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 to 5 minutes until warm throughout.
Pro Tips:
- The air fryer used to test the recipe was the Instant Vortex Plus 6 quart. All air fryers cook differently, so you may need to adjust the cook time accordingly.
- Donโt overcook the pork chops or they will become tough and dry. The pork chops I used were around 1.5 inches thick. If you have thinner pork chops then you will want to decrease the cook time and if you have pork chops thicker than 1.5 inches then you will want to increase the cook time.
- Cook pork to 145 degrees Fahrenheit as measured by a food thermometer.
