These wraps can be made with leftover chicken, rotisserie chicken, cooked frozen grilled chicken strips, frozen chicken tenders (no breading), crispy chicken tenders, or roasted chicken.

Equipment Needed:

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients:

Air Fryer Chicken Bacon Ranch Wraps recipe ingredients in various dishes on a white marble surface: flour tortillas, cooked chicken, ranch dressing, melted butter, cooked bacon, shredded cheddar jack cheese.
  • Cooked Chicken - I used these grilled chicken strips. You can also use leftover chicken, rotisserie chicken, or cooked chicken tenders (not breading) cut into cubes or shredded.
  • Cooked Crumbled Bacon - You can make your own bacon or use store bought cooked bacon. Chop the bacon into 1 inch pieces.
  • Ranch Dressing
  • Flour Tortillas - I used 8 to 10 inched sized tortillas. Any smaller and they will become difficult to fold.
  • Shredded Cheddar Jack Cheese
  • Butter - I use melted butter to brush over the tortillas to make them extra crispy.

Air Fryer Instructions:

1. Warm the tortillas: Stack the tortillas on a microwave safe plate. Cover with a damp paper towel and microwave for 20 to 25 seconds

2. Assemble the wraps: Lay a tortilla flat and spread it with a tablespoon of ranch dressing. Layer on cheese, bacon, and chicken.

3. Tightly wrap the tortilla up like a burrito. Assemble the remaining 3 wraps.

4. Brush the top of each wrap with melted butter.

5. Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit and set the timer for 5 minutes.

6. Place wraps into the air fryer seam-side-down and cook for 5 minutes or until golden.

7. When done, brush the wraps with additional melted butter (optional).

8. Remove wraps from air fryer. Let cool. Then enjoy with your favorite side dish. I like an additional side of ranch to dip the wraps.

Oven Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Prepare the wraps as directed in the recipe.

3. Place wraps seam-side-down on a baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.

Recipe Variations And Substitutions:

  • Chicken - Use grilled chicken strips, leftover chicken, rotisserie chicken, or crispy chicken strips. Just be sure to cube or shred the chicken.
  • Cheese - I used Cheddar Jack shredded cheese. Shredded Cheddar or Shredded Colby Jack would work great as well.
  • Tortillas - Regular, Low Carb, or Flavored tortillas can be used. I recommend using the large 10-inch tortillas.
  • Spicy - Make these wraps spicy sprinkling in some Cajun seasoning or buffalo sauce into the ranch dressing.

Storage And Reheating Instructions:

  • These wraps are best when eaten fresh. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
  • To reheat, preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit and heat for 1-3 minutes until crispy.

Pro Tips:

  • Warm the tortillas in microwave before using them. This makes them easier to fold.
  • Donโ€™t overfill the tortillas or they will be hard to fold.
  • I recommend using the large sized tortillas (10 inch).
  • The air fryer I used was the Instant Vortex Plus 6 quart. Since all air fryers are different, you will need to adjust the cook time based on the air fryer you are using.
