Equipment Needed
Ingredients (Full recipe located in recipe card below):

- 4 Boneless Pork Chops - I love cooking with boneless pork chops because they are quick cooking and easy.
- Salt - Salt to taste or omit if your lemon pepper seasoning has salt in it.
- Garlic Powder - Adds a mellow garlic flavor.
- Smoked Paprika - You can use regular paprika if that’s what you have on hand.
- Italian Seasoning - Dried oregano or dried parsley can be used if you don’t have Italian seasoning on hand.
- Lemon Pepper Seasoning - I used a salt free version. Check the label of your lemon pepper seasoning to see if salt is included. If so, omit the salt listed in the recipe or salt to taste.
- Olive Oil - Used to sear the pork chops for a golden and delicious outside.
- Butter - Adds the finishing touches to the pork chops, adds flavor, and increases juiciness.
Instructions:
- Mix the seasonings: To a small bowl, mix the salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, and lemon pepper seasoning. Stir until well blended.

- Using a paper towel, pat the pork chops dry on both sides and then season both sides with the seasoning mixture. Rub in the seasoning so that it sticks to the pork chops.

- Heat a skillet over medium high heat and drizzle in the olive oil.

- Add the pork chops to the pan and cook on the first side for 4 to 5 minutes.

- Flip the pork chops, then add the butter in an open spot in the skillet. Cook the pork chops for an additional 5 to 6 minutes, occasionally spooning the melted butter over the pork chops (the pork chops are done when they are golden brown and have reached an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit)

- Remove the pork chops from the skillet and onto a plate. Let rest for 3 minutes, then serve with any additional butter sauce drizzled on top.

If your pork chops are thin, they will cook faster and need slightly different timing. Follow my recipe for cooking thin pork chops on the stove to avoid overcooking thin pork chops.
