Recipe Variations And Substitutions:

  • Cheese - I used shredded Cheddar Jack cheese, but you can use shredded Cheddar, Mozzarella, or a Mexican cheese blend.
  • Tortillas - Spinach, wheat or low carb tortillas can be used instead of flour tortillas if thatโ€™s what you prefer.

Storage And Reheating Instructions:

  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat, preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit and heat for 1-3 minutes until warm throughout.

Pro Tips:

  • Be sure to warm the tortillas before use. Otherwise, they make crack when you fold them.
  • Make sure all the shredded cheese on top of the pockets is pressed down into the softened butter. This holds it in place so it doesnโ€™t fly around in the air fryer.
  • The air fryer I used was the Instant Vortex Plus 6 quart. Since all air fryers are different, you will need to adjust the cook time based on the air fryer you are using.
