Why You Will Love This Recipe:

    • These chicken ranch snack wraps can be made in 15 minutes or less from start to finish! For the chicken, I use frozen breaded chickens strips, which make these even easier. The only cooking involved is cooking the strips in the air fryer until crispy.
    • Customizable: The good thing about making these at home is that you can customize them to fit your taste. While my inspiration for these wraps are the McDonald's Snack Wraps, you can add additional toppings like pickles, onions, diced tomatoes or olives to fit your taste. At my house, we often like to add diced cucumbers and I always change up the sauce I use.

What To Serve With Chicken Snack Wraps:

Serve these with my air fryer crinkle cut fries (from frozen), air fryer corn on the cob, or air fryer roasted bacon potatoes. These also go great with a side salad, carrot sticks, or those applesauce pouches for the kids.

    Equipment Needed:

    • Air Fryer

    Ingredients:

Air fryer snack wraps recipe ingredients in various dishes on a white marble surface: flour tortillas, frozen breaded chicken strips, shredded Cheddar Jack cheese, romaine lettuce, and ranch dressing.
    • Frozen Breaded Chicken Strips - I used Tyson’s Crispy Chicken Strips (Chicken Breast Strips). If you are looking for non-breaded chicken, you can use these Air Fryer Grilled Chicken Strips or these Air Fryer Frozen Chicken Tenders.
    • Flour Tortillas - Use large 10-inch sized tortillas.
    • Lettuce - I used romaine lettuce.
    • Shredded Cheese - I used shredded Cheddar Jack.
    • Ranch Dressing - Ranch dressing brings this wrap to life. See below for other sauce suggestions.

    Air Fryer Instructions:

    1. Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.

Black air fryer panel with a silver dial set to 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.

    2. Once the air fryer is ready, add the frozen breaded chicken strips and cook for 10 minutes. Be sure to flip them halfway through.

    3. Remove the chicken strips from the air fryer, let cool, and then cut into one-inch chunks.

Cooked breaded chicken strips being cut with a silver knife on a wood cutting board.

    4. Warm the tortillas: Stack the tortillas on a microwave safe plate. Cover with a damp paper towel and microwave for 20 to 25 seconds.

    5. Assemble the wraps: Lay a tortilla flat and top with chopped romaine lettuce, shredded Cheddar Jack cheese, breaded chicken chunks, and ranch dressing.

    6. Fold in the bottom of the tortilla, then the left side, and then the right side to form your snack wrap. Enjoy!

    Recipe Variations And Substitutions:

    • Chicken - For this recipe you can use frozen breaded chicken strips, frozen grilled chicken strips, or air fryer chicken tenderloins. All of these can be cooked in the air fryer in no time.
    • Sauces - You don't have to stick to using ranch dressing, here are some other sauce ideas that we have tried and you should too:
      • Honey mustard
      • Mayo
      • Sriracha and mayo mixture
      • Another sauce we've tried and absolutely love is The Chicken Sauce by Kinder's. This is sooo good!
    • Cheese - Shredded Cheddar, Colby Jack, or Mozzarella can be used.

    Storage And Reheating Instructions:

Because these are made with lettuce, I recommend eating these on the same day that you make them. If you would like to make and store these a day ahead of time, I recommend making them without the lettuce. Tightly wrap each wrap in food plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for up to one day. To reheat, remove the plastic wrap and wrap with a damp paper towel and microwave for 25 seconds at a time until warm.

    Pro Tips:

    • Use the larger sized 10-inch flour tortillas. The smaller ones are hard to wrap.
    • Be sure to warm the tortillas before use. This is so that they won't crack when folding.
    • The air fryer used in this recipe is the Instant Vortex Plus 6 quart. You will need to adjust cook times based on the size and brand of air fryer you are using.
